She is very professional and personable . I found my time and experience to be very educational and informative. I would suggest and recommend her to any who is in need of a knee replacement . I found that constant day to day exercise is needed to regain mobility. I also would strongly suggest anyone about to go through with this to have a transportation in line for physical therapy before hand. Eating is another thing after surgery my experience was that my stomach and head did not want to play nice with one another. Having a very wide menu at home is a strong suggestion. I had extreme cravings for sweets which is actually not a good thing. A recovery from a surgery needs protein to heal and maintain physical therapy schedule Physical therapy will be something you will need to repeat at home even after being discharges from it. Swimming ,walking in water freestyle stroke simple flutter kicks and the like has been very beneficial. In all there is a lot to schedule and to consider such as do you have someone in the house to help you walk are there steps at your home do you have many pillows for icing down your leg.

I was immediately comfortable when I met Dr. Rasmussen. She gave me her candid opinion and told me what I needed to do to correct the situation. I appreciated her directness and her ability to shift her schedule to accommodate mine. She is a warm and friendly doctor that eased my fears. She is also gives great hugs that make you feel human.
