Bio
Dr. Leigh C. White, MD, PhD, FACOG graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Prior to obtaining her medical degree, she earned her Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
She also served as a post-doctoral research associate at Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at UNC. She completed her residency in OB/Gyn at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children (now Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies) in Orlando in 2006.
Dr. White is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Vulvodynia Association. She has special interests in the treatment of chronic vaginal infections, preventive medicine, weight loss and nutrition, and adolescent medicine.
