I was born and raised in the farmlands of Hillsboro, Oregon. I obtained my Biology degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, and after a brief experience fabricating computer chips at Intel, decided that my dream was to practice medicine. At Oregon Health Sciences University, I found my calling in Urologic Surgery, and completed my Urology residency training at University of California Irvine. Certified by the American Board of Urology, my practice covers all aspects of male and female urological care. Over time, my focus has steadily become more on the urological issues of the post-menopausal female, and exploring new treatment options for female urinary incontinence and pelvic pain.
Urologists are physicians trained to diagnose and treat the various disorders and diseases relating to the urinary tract in both men and women, also specializing in the reproductive system in males. Dr. Larsen may diagnose and treat conditions like urinary tract infections, prostate cancer, kidney stones and incontinence, among others. Treatment options can be surgical or non-surgical in nature, depending upon the patient's specific diagnosis and medical history.
