Dr Le is a proponent of patient education and in furthering her own professional education in order to stay on top of the latest developments in Internal Medicine. She chose to specialize in Internal Medicine because it offers an opportunity to make a difference in her patients’ lives.
Dr. Le earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 and completed her residency and internship at the UCLA Sepulveda VA Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Physicians. She joined Graybill Medical Group in 1997 and speaks fluent Vietnamese.
Specializing in the treatment of diabetes, Dr. Le cares for patients suffering from all types and stages of the disease such as types I and II, or gestational diabetes. Diabetologists work closely with diabetic patients to formulate a personalized, comprehensive plan that includes a diabetes-friendly diet and exercise regimen, in addition to any prescription medications or treatment procedures that are deemed necessary.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Le specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Le can also refer patients to specialists when medically needed. As an example, patients with severe allergies could be referred to an allergist for added diagnostic tests or treatment options.
