Dr. Kristin Schroeder graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2007 before completing a residency in Pediatrics at University of North Carolina from 2007 to 2010. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Duke University Medical Center from 2010 to 2013.
Dr. Schroeder has one office in North Carolina where she specializes in Pediatric Hematology / Oncology and Pediatric Neurology.

Pediatric Hematology / Oncology
Pediatric hematologist / oncologists are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of blood disorders and various types of cancer that are found in children. Dr. Schroeder may provide consultation on complicated cases in addition to second opinions, and may offer a wide range of special treatment procedures, as well as short and long term management plans. Dr. Schroeder may work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to execute a coordinated treatment plan.

Pediatric neurologists provide care for disorders of the nervous system in children. When diagnosing patients, Dr. Schroeder may perform procedures such as PET scans, EMG or EEG tests or nerve conduction velocity tests, among others. She may treat conditions like epilepsy, aneurysms, behavioral and neuromuscular disorders, sleep problems, learning disabilities, and many other neurological conditions.
