Dr. Ponnuru is a board-certified surgeon who attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine for her medical degree. She served her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas.
Special interests for Dr. Ponnuru include laparoscopic surgery, especially inguinal and ventral hernia repair. Laparoscopic colorectal surgery, cholecystectomy and breast surgery.
Dr. Ponnuru is passionate about her family and enjoys coaching softball and basketball and volunteering at Girl Scout Camp.
