My goal is to deliver best in class care to every patient whether I am performing a big cancer operation or a smaller case. With a background in solid organ transplantation and complex hepatobiliary surgery, I specialize in complex problems of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas including cancer as well as a vast breadth of general surgery operations. I have spent recent years expanding the role of minimally-invasive surgery, especially robotic-assisted surgery, in my practice.
Dr. Modanlou is a native of Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University where he graduated with distinction with a degree in biology.
