My career began at UT Austin where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1990.
I moved on to Chiropractic College at Texas Chiropractic College and graduated as Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1993
After 10 years of private practice mainly dealing with occupational soft tissue injuries and rehabilitation, I returned to medical school at Ross University School of Medicine where I graduated with Highest Honors in 2007.
I went on to Residency at San Jacinto Methodist where I was able to move into a Chief Resident position prior to graduating residency in 2010.
I am currently licensed as both a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Medical Doctor. I hold chiropractic licenses in Texas and Oklahoma and I have a medical license in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi. I am currently completing my California license. All of these licenses enable me to maintain an active review practice where I help provide standardized medical and chiropractic practice through out the nation through my work with Concentra, Medical Review Stream.
Just after graduating residency, I moved to Nacogdoches and ran an occupational medicine clinic where I was the company doctor for Pilgrim’s Pride, Tyson, Stephen F. Austin University, Parker Hannifin, and Nibco. During my time in Nacogdoches, I was active in the Chamber of Commerce where I graduated from a Leadership Nacogdoches class. I was also active in the Nacogdoches Rotary Club and I was elected as Family Medicine Chairman for Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital.
Now I have moved back to Dallas/Richardson where I am a member of a multidisciplinary clinic, Applegate Recovery where our team treats addiction. I am also a part of Concentra, Medical Review Stream as a physician reviewer of occupational medicine.
