Dr. Kayla Asay is a passionate OB-GYN who treats patients from throughout southeastern Idaho, at Leavitt Women’s Healthcare in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Dr. Assay provides a wide range of services including minimally invasive laparoscopic hysterectomies, treatments for menopause including bio-identical hormone replacement pellets, pregnancy care, breast cancer screenings, ovarian and cervical cancer screenings including Pap smears, contraception advice, and general obstetrics & gynecology care.
Dr. Asay was born and raised in Oklahoma, where she earned her bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Oklahoma before serving her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Missouri. During her residency, she trained in a variety of specialties including gynecological oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and female pelvic medicine.
Dr. Asay is passionate about educating women and helping them to take care of the physical, mental, and emotional health. She aims to empower women to make informed decisions about their healthcare and to lead healthier lives. She is currently welcoming new patients at Leavitt Women’s Healthcare.
