Availablethe doctor performed surgery on my wife . because my wife was not a good candidate for surgery because of previous stroke and diabetes, there was a great amount of concern on our part.no one was able to draw blood at another doctors office , nor were they able to start an IV for a lengthy time in pre-op the surgery schedule had to be changed because of the delay. after the surgery was complete, Doctor McFarlane left the building without even talking to me before she left leaving many unanswered questions about my wifes surgery.the staff were very shocked that she did not meet with me after waiting thru the surgery for good news. she was paged and called but didn't respond to either. the protocol is for the doctor to meet with the family after the surgery is done. she may be a great surgeon but this is the reason I would never recommend her to anyone else
