Specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Karen Lapesarde is highly experienced and board certified in the treatment and management of pregnancy, high risk and medically complicated pregnancy, a variety of female medical problems, including menstrual problems, abnormal pap smears, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, bladder problems, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, and other disorders of the uterus. In addition to characteristic gynecological care, Dr. Lapesarde provides services in contraception and family planning, adolescent female problems, menopause and hormone treatment, and infertility management.

She completed her internship and residency at the Boston City Hospital and Boston University Medical Center. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Lapesarde holds dual degrees in Biological Sciences and Spanish Language, graduating with honors from USC.

Dr. Lapesarde is a life-time resident of the West-side of Los Angeles, California and has been in practice since 1993 in the Los Angeles community.
