Kara G. Keeton, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with 16 years of experience. She offers a complete range of gynecological and obstetrical services at the South Windsor office of Connecticut Women’s OB/GYN, a state-of-the-art, all-female run, women’s health practice. Dr. Keeton provides preventive care, annual exams, disease screening and treatment, family planning, preconceptual counseling, infertility evaluation, and comprehensive obstetric care, as well as medical and surgical management of gynecological issues. She specializes in gynecological ultrasound diagnostics.   After earning her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Dr. Keeton obtained her medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and went on to a fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.   In addition to being a board-certified gynecologist and obstetrician, Dr. Keeton is a member of various local, state, and national medical associations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She joined Connecticut Women OB/GYN in early 2011.
