Dr. Jonathan A. Lesserson graduated from Harvard University in 1985, prior to receiving his Medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete his residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he served as chief resident in 1993-1994. Dr. Lesserson is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His specialties include Ear, Nose, Throat and Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Lesserson sees both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Lesserson uses state-of-the-art technology in the operating room, including 3D Computed Tomography image-guidance for endoscopic sinus surgery, intraoperative facial and laryngeal nerve monitoring for salivary and thyroid gland surgery, and lasers for ear and vocal cord surgery. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical treatment of sinus disorders using Balloon Sinuplasty, which can be performed in the office or in the operating room.
