I am an energetic, dedicated and compassionate physician with over 30 years of professional and personal experience, board certified in Addiction Medicine, Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology. I have served as the Medical Director of two residential treatment facilities for chemical dependence and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. I am currently the addiction medicine specialist for a community mental health facility, providing outpatient, office based, Medical Assisted Treatment for opioid and alcohol dependence at one of their outpatient clinics.
I am passionate about helping addicts and alcoholics get well and develop a program of meaningful recovery. I am an expert in the treatment of opioid dependence and have promoted Medically Assisted Treatment of recovery utilizing Suboxone and Vivitrol. I am a Treatment Advocate on behalf of Indivior, advising addiction professionals on the safe and effective use of Suboxone. I know how to manage chronic pain in the setting of addiction and recovery, promoting a comprehensive treatment program which includes non-opioid medication, physical therapy, massage and chiropractic manipulation and physical modalities.
