Dr. Gotvald received his credentials by performing 6 years of formal surgical and laser training at the leading medical centers in Houston and Dallas. The focus of his training was on minimally-invasive therapies for vascular and vein diseases, including the use of vein lasers, ultrasound-guided varicose vein treatments, radiofrequency vein therapy, and sclerotherapy. He has published several articles pertaining to his work in nationally distributed medical and surgical journals. His vast experience with all of the latest varicose vein technologies helps to ensure that he can provide his patients with the best possible cosmetic results with the least amount of pain and recovery time.

Dr. Gotvald also distinguishes himself by being nationally certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), reflecting his expertise in vein ultrasound & vascular radiology interpretation. He has personally performed and interpreted thousands of vein ultrasound studies and ultrasound-guided procedures.
