I began seeing Dr. Shaw one year ago after having been with another pain specialist for about 7 years whom I did not physically see for the last year I was a patient at his clinic. The first injections Dr. Shaw gave me in my hip stopped the pain for 10 months. My back is a different issue. He has given me several injections, not all the same, and altho they all helped none help as much as the one I received 7/13. Since then very little pain, been more active, better sleep and most importantly fewer pain meds. Altho I have to drive 60 miles to see him he is well worth the trip. He does not have any PAs or NPs so every time you have an appointment you see the DOCTOR. This is such a big plus. When my hip started hurting after 10 months I received another injection in May and absolutely no pain since then. I would highly recommend Dr. Shaw. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and compassionate. He is easy to reach should you need him between appointments. His office staff have all been very friendly and helpful.
