Bio
Dr. Schussler has been in practice for over 10 years. In that time, he has written numerous articles on a variety of subjects in the field of cardiology. Many of them are available for download on www.pubmed.com, or www.researchgate.com. He gives talks regularly on a number of topics including transradial coronary angiography (heart catheterization through the wrist), computed tomographic coronary angiography (NON-invasive heart catheterization), and is considered an expert in the area of takotsubo cardiomyopathy (broken heart syndrome).
He has been at Baylor University Medical Center in Downtown Dallas, Tx, the Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital, where he is the medical director for their ICU.
He continues to teach physician and nurse trainees, sees patients, and is active in the medical community.
