Dr. Jeffrey S. Young, is a leading family physician providing state-of-the-art care for patients of all ages from throughout the Vancouver, WA, region. At Hudson’s Bay Medical Group, Dr. Young offers comprehensive care for acute and chronic medical issues as well as men’s and women’s health care. Dr. Young is committed to helping healthy patients stay healthy, with wellness exams, flu shots and an on-site laboratory to make it easier for patients to get the care they need despite their busy schedules.Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Young completed his medical degree at Oregon Health and Sciences university, followed by a residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. His overarching goal is to help patients get the most effective, most appropriate care to help them enjoy optimal health at every age and every stage of life.Dr. Young believes he has the best job in the world.“I get to take care of a broad range of patients of all ages,” he says. He’ll finish with a six-month old infant; go next to a sports injury, then to provide depression treatment to somebody else. He may do a small surgical procedure and then help someone deal with his obesity.Jeff says, “We have time to know our patients, and they trust us so well that we become almost part of each other’s families. I believe that plays a key role in our ability to help them be as healthy as they can be.”Dr. Young and his wife have two children, and they are active in sports together. Jeff has been a long-time collector of sci-fi memorabilia, particularly Star Wars and Star Trek models, toys, posters and comic books, all in mint condition.
