Dr. Bechler is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College after earning his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He completed his internship and residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and a fellowship in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. He has a subspeciality in sports medicine and is an expert in providing treatment for sports injuries.
Sports medicine physicians are trained to provide treatment and prevention plans for those participating in sports and related physical activities. Dr. Bechler is trained to treat complications such as muscle tears and strains, concussions, tendon and ligament damage, shin splints, sports hernias, fractures, and a variety of others. Treatments may include rehabilitation services, therapies and a variety of surgical operations, among others.
Being an orthopedic surgeon in New Jersey, Dr. Bechler is qualified to treat and diagnose injuries to the musculoskeletal system, such as the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons.
