Jay Rechtweg, M.D. received his medical degree with clinical honors from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. Dr. Rechtweg completed both his surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery from the State University at Buffalo Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He then went on to complete a Rhinological fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center, in Chicago, Illinois where he also acted as a clinical instructor. Dr. Rechtweg has practiced as an otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat Physician) for over 10 years. He is a resident of Long Island and has been practicing in the Long Island area for over 5 years.
Dr. Rechtweg is board certified in Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the New York State Medical Society. Locally, he is a member of the Nassau County Medical Society, and the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology.
