Dr. Javidan attended the UHS/Chicago Medical School for his medical education.  After six years of training in Urology at Henry Ford Hospital, he completed his fellowship training in Urological Oncology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Javidan moved to Sacramento in 2003.  Over the years, he has developed a thriving Urological Oncology practice in the greater Sacramento region.  He currently serves as the Chief of Urology at Mercy General Hospital and the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at Mercy San Juan Medical Center.  Dr. Javidan treats a wide variety of urological conditions, but maintains a passion for the treatment of urological malignancies such as prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer.

Dr. Javidan enjoys educating his patients as well as learning from them.  He finds the extra time spent with each individual helps to ensures better understanding and care.  He believes that every patient is unique, and therefore, takes a special interest in tailoring his treatment of each person utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.  In his spare time, he enjoys down-hill skiing, traveling, gardening, and reading.
