Dr. James Crawford recently moved back home to Boise, after serving 24 years in the U.S. Army. He is bringing his expertise to the Treasure Valley as the only Board Certified Neurotologist in the state of Idaho. Dr. Crawford is a graduate of Capital High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. Then went on to get his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University. After a residency in Otolaryngology at Madigan Army Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in Otology/Neurotology at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University and was the Otolaryngology Residency Program Director at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Crawford is on the Editorial Board for multiple national publications. He has been active in hearing research and has lectured nationally and internationally. Dr. Crawford is excited to back home and bring the skills he has developed to the Treasure Valley. His wife, Marisa, and their 4 children enjoy travel and the outdoors – skiing, waterskiing, fishing, hiking, tennis and golf.
