Dr. J. Wesley Cook is a compassionate and well-respected family doctor and osteopathic medicine practitioner helping patients in and around the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago, IL, enjoy optimal health and wellness at every age and every stage of life. As a top-rated practitioner, Dr. Cook offers a comprehensive array of care options, including annual physicals, women's health services, osteopathic manipulations and adjustments, treatment for sports injuries, advanced methods of addiction treatment, STD testing and HIV management, as well as on-site laboratory testing for added patient convenience and fast and accurate results.
Dr. Cook attended Southern Illinois University where he attained his bachelor's degree, completing his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Midwestern University followed by a residency in family medicine at the University of Illinois. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Cook also holds certification in addictions medicine with the American Society of Addictions Medicine. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Cook serves as an instructor at the University of Illinois, Midwestern University and Rush University. For more than a decade, he has also volunteered at CommunityHealth Chicago, providing top-quality care for lower income patients.
At his practice on Addison Avenue, Dr. Cook uses the most advanced osteopathic techniques and technology to provide his patients with custom care and treatment options based on each patient's individual needs.
