Dr. Inessa Fishman is a Facial Plastic Surgeon who specializes in facial plastic aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, with an emphasis on rhinoplasty (nose surgery), facelifting, eyelid lifting, brow lifting, facial and skin resurfacing, otoplasty and non-surgical newborn ear correction, scar revision, facial implants, lip and cheek augmentation, jawline contouring, and injectable fillers and Botox(R) and Dysport(R).  She combines surgical and medical interventions with minimally invasive and non-invasive treatments to give her patients natural and beautiful results. The latest in cutting-edge advances blended with classic standards, the highest levels of safety and care, patient education, and impeccable outcomes--these are the pillars of Dr. Fishman’s practice.

Dr. Fishman was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and left the former Soviet Union to move to the United States with her family.  She attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA, completing her undergraduate studies in Biology in an accelerated 3 years. Dr. Fishman obtained her medical degree (MD) at the Emory University School of Medicine, and then completed a rigorous Ear, Nose, and Throat--Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Kansas, gaining first-class expertise in head and neck diseases and surgery for cancer, trauma, and reconstruction. She then accepted a highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, completing her training at the McCollough Institute in Gulf Shores, Alabama; there, she refined her skills in cosmetic facial, ear, and nose surgery and developed a wide spectrum of non-surgical facial rejuvenation techniques.  After her training, Dr. Fishman practiced at Artisan Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, GA before establishing Aviva Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics.Dr. Fishman has a research background in 3-dimensional medical imaging, facial trauma repair, and non-surgical, radiofrequency facial skin tightening and rejuvenation. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Medical Association of Atlanta, and the Medical Association of Georgia.

In her free time, Dr. Fishman enjoys exploring the sights, sounds, and tastes of Sandy Springs and Atlanta, as well as traveling, exercising, and spending time with her family.  She is married to Steve Best, an HR executive; they are parents to their young daughter, Katherine. Dr. Fishman is proud to be a full-time physician, surgeon, and mother, and the founder of Aviva Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, her practice in Atlanta, GA.
