Pediatric Surgery
Pediatric surgeons are to children what general surgeons are to adults, performing a wide range of surgeries on the organs and structures of the abdomen. Because children are still maturing and growing, their surgical needs are much different from that of an adult. Dr. Cohen has been specifically trained to take these and other factors into account when planning for and performing pediatric surgeries.

Cardiothoracic surgery is a highly specialized field of medicine that incorporates surgical procedures to treat diseases or trauma to the organs and structures of the chest – including the heart, lungs and esophagus. Dr. Cohen may perform both minimally invasive or invasive procedures ranging from angioplasty to open heart surgery or transplant surgeries.
