Dr. Georgios Ziakas is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon serving the Katy area. Dr. Ziakas is experienced in Body Sculpting-Liposuction, Complex Hernia Repair, Prominent Ear Repair- Otoplasty and many other cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons , a member of the American Medical Association and a candidate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery. He is certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Ziakas was recipient of Academic Excellence Awards by the Methodist Hospital program and the Hellenic Republic. He has had extensive training for three years at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he served as the academic chief resident from 2014 to 2015. He has recently been nominated to serve as a member of the 2017 Healthcare Delivery Subcommittee of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
