Dr. Georgios Rossidis received his medical degree at Semmelweis University and graduated as the class valedictorian. He completed his internship at Mayo Clinic and his surgical residency at the University of Florida where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident.
Dr. Rossidis then completed a postgraduate fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Florida. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Univeristy of Florida. Dr. Rossidis has authored multiple publications and surgical book chapters and presented at local, national and international meetings.
He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, American Medical Association and member of the Chapman Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Rossidis’ clinical interests include management of benign and malignant gastroesophageal disorders, laparoscopic bariatric surgery, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, laparoscopic hernia surgery and laparoscopic solid organ surgery.
