Our office, The Plastic Surgery Center of North Carolina, is located at 2901 Maplewood Avenue in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Our receptionists will be glad to provide directions and assist you with scheduling a consultation.

The reception area, doctors’ offices and consultation rooms are located on the first floor of our building. A library of videos is available to help explain many of the procedures we offer.

The ground floor of our building is a state-licensed outpatient surgery facility with three certified operating rooms and a recovery area. For those who want to stay overnight, transportation can be arranged to a private room at Medical Park Hospital, just minutes away.

Bio


Dr. Lawson grew up in Aiken, SC where he was valedictorian of his high school. He then moved on to Winston-Salem, NC to attend Wake Forest University and finished with honors. He completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and finished in the top 10 of his class.Dr. Lawsons interest in surgery took him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he finished a challenging 5-year residency in General Surgery. He then completed his training with a plastic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, where he was nominated for the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship. It was at the Mayo Clinic where he learned the most advanced and up-to-date procedures in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. In 2012, Dr. Lawson joined Forsyth Plastic Surgery, and he and his family are excited to have returned to Winston-Salem and the Triad area.Dr. Lawson is board certified by The American Board Of Surgery and The American Board of Plastic Surgery and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in plastic surgery, hand surgery, and general surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has also had the honor of presenting at numerous local and national plastic surgery and hand surgery meetings.Dr. Lawson is married to his lovely wife Amy, and together they have 3 beautiful young children. He enjoys golfing, fishing, cheering on the Demon Deacons
