One of the newest members of the team, Fritz Jean-Noel, MD, brings a fresh perspective to Advanced Mental Health Care. Dr. Jean-Noel has an excellent foundation in general psychiatry, in addition to specialized knowledge in the areas of sleep disorders, addiction and pain rehabilitation. Dr. Jean-Noel goals are to provide patients with a safe and comfortable setting that they feel supported and helped.

Dr. Jean-Noel is originally from the East Coast where he completed college and medical school. He was recruited to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota where he completed his training in Psychiatry with a combined fellowship in Addictions and Pain Rehabilitation. Dr. Jean-Noel has been double board certified since 2012 and he obtained his Suboxone license while training at the Minneapolis VA hospital.

In 2014, Dr. Jean-Noel completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of Minnesota and Hennepin County Medical Center. Since then, Dr. Jean-Noel has combined his multiple training backgrounds to provide patients thorough and comprehensive treatment and support. He has worked in several different settings and positions including a full time Psychiatrist at an Addiction Center, a full time Sleep Physician at a sleep center and also as an inpatient Psychiatrist. He moved to Florida in 2017 and joined Advanced Mental Health Care.

To date, a focus on sleep disorders and addiction services has defined Dr. Jean-Noel’s research. He has examined the impact that sleep disorders can have on an individual’s work as well as on their ability to manage addiction. The proper use of pain medication to avoid addiction is another area of specialty.
