Dr. Shah-Khan is committed to providing the highest level of compassionate care to patients and their families.
She completed her residency in Internal Medicine from Southern Illinois University and a fellowship in Nephrology from McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
In addition, Dr. Shah-Khan has completed a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the University of Michigan.
In addition to caring for patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and acid-base disorders, Dr. Shah-Khan has evolved special interest in the management of nephritides and has extensive experience in managing special Therapeutic Aphaeresis Patient population.

Nephrology
As a nephrologist in Illinois, Dr. Shah-Khan diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases and complications affecting your kidneys. These may include kidney stones, chronic kidney disease, renal failure, chronic urinary tract infections, and other disorders that affect the kidneys. When a patient's condition is serious enough to cause kidney failure, Dr. Shah-Khan may be responsible for managing the dialysis process.
