Bio
Dr. Thurston joined Greenville ObGyn Associates in August 2012. She was born and raised in Arlington, TX. She attended Texas Tech University for both her undergraduate degree and for medical school. She then moved to Greenville, SC for her ObGyn residency at Greenville Hospital System. During residency she was awarded the Golden Scalpel Award, the John V. Dacus Award for Excellence in Obstetrics, the Society for Laparoscopic Surgeons Award for Excellence in Laparoscopy, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award in Minimally Invasive Gynecology. Dr. Thurston is board eligible. She is a member of the Greenville County Medical Society and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is married to Brian Thurston. She spends her free time running and working out, as well as spending time with her pets.
