Dr. Troutman joined Greenville Ob Gyn Associates in 1989. A native of Burlington, North Caolina, he graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University and received his M.D. from Wake Forest University. He completed Ob Gyn Residency training at Greenville Hospital System. Dr. Troutman is Board Certified in Ob Gyn and is annually re-certified. He is active in the Greenville County Medical Society, and is the Society President in 2002. He volunteers at the Free Medical Clinic and is a charter member of the "Medwell Access" program, which seeks to meet the needs of the medically underserved in Greenville County. Dr. Trouman and his wife, Elizabeth have two children, Susan and Nathan. Most of the family's free time is spent at the children's sports activities, but the parents also participate in skiing and scuba-diving.
