Dr. Wimbley earned her bachelor’s degree in History from Cornell University and her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C. She did research and published while at the Columbia University Medical Center in the Department of Physiology and Cellular Molecular Biology and in the Department of Microbiology. She is a compassionate physician with 15 years of primary care experience and Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Wimbley is continuously up to date with the latest medical developments and believes that her greatest contribution to medicine is early detection and prevention. Patients trust Dr. Wimbley to provide a wide range of services such as Annual Physical Exams, Preoperative Evaluations, managing Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Thyroid Disease, Asthma, Anxiety and Heartburn, among many other medical conditions.

Dr. Wimbley began her medical career in Chicago, Illinois and subsequently moved to NYC to be closer to her family.  She is happily married and a mother of two beautiful children.
