Bio
I am a patient- and family-centered child neurologist specializing in the treatment of pediatric and adolescent epilepsy (seizures) and neuromuscular disorders, and an assistant professor of pediatrics and neurology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Prior to becoming a pediatric epileptologist and neuromuscular neurologist, I was a practicing general pediatrician for 10 years, a gratifying and introspective period that deepened my empathy and compassion in caring for children with neurological needs. In addition to being part of the pediatric epilepsy center (CNP-EEG), the pediatric MDA/neuromuscular clinic, and the multidisciplinary brachial plexus/peripheral nerve injury clinic, I currently serve as the medical director of the pediatric electrodiagnostic laboratory (EDX-EMG) at Connecticut Children’s.

Pediatric Neurology
Pediatric neurologists provide care for disorders of the nervous system in children. When diagnosing patients, Dr. Ng may perform procedures such as PET scans, EMG or EEG tests or nerve conduction velocity tests, among others. She may treat conditions like epilepsy, aneurysms, behavioral and neuromuscular disorders, sleep problems, learning disabilities, and many other neurological conditions.

As a Danbury, CT, epileptologist, Dr. Ng is a specialized physician who diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with epilepsy, a condition characterized by recurring seizures. Epilepsy is a neurological condition that affects the electrical communication between neurons in the brain.
