Dr. Nadir is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician and completed her residency here in Arizona at Maricopa County and Good Samaritan Medical Center in 2006. In addition to practicing with American Medical Associates (AMA) in a Primary Care setting, Dr. Nadir also works as a Hospitalist in several East Valley Hospitals including Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and Banner facilities. With a broad scope of practice, Dr. Nadir aims to provide comprehensive care for her patients including early diagnosis and treatment. She is also able to use her privileges at the hospitals to directly admit and follow her patients should they end up requiring inpatient hospitalization. She works in collaboration with several different consultants both outpatient and inpatient to ensure her patients get the care they deserve in an efficient manner.
Dr Nadir did her late schooling in NY and has lived in several different states but then decided to settle in AZ after she came here in 2001. She currently resides in Gilbert, AZ with her husband, also a Physician, and 4 kids. In her time off she likes to travel and spend time with her family.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Nadir specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Nadir also can refer patients to specialist physicians when medically needed. For instance, patients with severe kidney problems can be referred to a nephrologist for further medical tests or treatments.
