I am Board Certified in Anesthesiology with special qualifications in Pain Management.I have completed a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh (1993 – 1994).I have practiced Pain Management exclusively since 1994.My medical practice emphasis is interventional pain management specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain syndromes.My current medical practice includes a procedure site where all injections are performed under fluoroscopic guidance and has since 1994. I am familiar with the procedural and material costs associated with such procedures.I am a long-standing member of the International Spinal Intervention Society (ISIS), American Medical Association (AMA), Bexar County Medical Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP).I have taught physicians the proper techniques of spinal injections, including discography, at multiple cadaver workshops.I have developed and currently operate both a full functioning pharmacy and urine testing laboratory with Analyzer and Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry instruments.
