Dr. Dean Hildahl is the President of the Foundation for Women’s Health with a vision to deliver compassionate care to the communities’ poorest citizens. Since founding the organization over 11 years ago, the county has seen a remarkable drop in neonatal mortality rates.

Collaborating with a group of trained Obstetricians, the foundation delivers over 1500 babies per year at no cost to the patients. In his practice, Dr. Hildahl is ethically driven, suggesting non-surgical alternatives first and if absolutely necessary he will recommend the most effective and least invasive surgical procedure.

As the only OB/GYN in southwest Florida to have completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, he has received world class training and experience; designating Dr. Hildahl as the best choice when selecting your new physician.

Dr. Hildahl became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1983 and has participated in every annual board re-certification thereafter.

Born in a small town in North Dakota, Dr. Hildahl stays true to his Midwestern values, creating a life full of outdoor and indoor sports activities and fun family time. He is married to Leeann, his wife of 21 years and has two boys Matt and Sam who are presently attending universities.
