Bio

I specialize in surgical treatment of diseases of the lungs and chest organs other than the heart. Many patients I see either have lung cancer or require biopsy to diagnose lung problems. I think it’s important to talk to patients in ways that they’ll understand. To do this, I sometimes use analogies or put things in every day terms to make things simpler. I became a doctor because I like to treat people of all ages and stages of life and helping them through difficult times. I really enjoy when we can tell a patient with cancer that their tumor has been removed, or that we’ve been able to confirm that their scans look clear of any problems. I grew up in New Jersey and have three school-aged children who keep me busy when I am not at work. I also like to cook, exercise and spend time outdoors.
