Dr. Craig D. Robison is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional cardiology as well his residency and internship in internal medicine at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. Dr. Robison earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
Dr. Robison practices all aspects of general cardiology and specializes in the treatment of chest pain, acute heart attacks, coronary atherosclerotic disease and specializes in stent implantation using minimally invasive catheter-based techniques via the radial artery in the arm approach (as opposed to the traditional groin approach), even for patients who have had prior bypass surgery. He also specializes in the invasive evaluation of heart failure and valvular heart disease.
Dr. Robison is passionate about involving patients in the decision-making process by listening to their thoughts and concerns and together formulating a care plan.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Robison provides minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment services for conditions affecting the heart and cardiovascular system. This may include the diagnosis and treatment of enlarged heart muscles and vascular blockages, chronic or unstable angina, and congestive heart failure. In providing care, Dr. Robison may utilize minimally-invasive catheterizations, offering easier access the heart and vascular system.
