Dr. Christy Guepet is originally from Andalusia, Alabama. She and her husband Tray were thrilled to have the opportunity to move back to south Alabama in 2015. Dr. Guepet earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Duke University and her Medical Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. After completing her internship, residency and chief residency at UAB, she stayed in Birmingham in private practice for a decade before moving to Fairhope. Dr. Guepet is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive surgery. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Urogynecology Society. Her clinical interests include office gynecology, urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, hormone replacement, women’s wellness and office cosmetic treatments including Botox and Juvederm. She has extensive experience with Davinci Robotic Surgical techniques as an early adopter of its use in benign gynecologic surgery and has been a proctor for these procedures for over 5 years. Dr. Guepet lives in Fairhope with her husband Tray and children, Matthew and Ellie. Their family is active in local schools, sports and church activities. She cherishes the time they spend together in the water and sun, traveling, watching sports events and skiing.
