Bio

Dr. Christopher Conner has been in practice for 37 years. He is a Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon and is also certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Conner graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry from Ithaca College in New York. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1978. There he received the Most Outstanding Student Award and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After completing training in General Surgery at UT Houston and Cardiovascular Surgery at New York University, Dr. Conner went into private practice in Great Falls, Montana. He then completed a residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and returned to Great Falls, where he practiced both thoracic and plastic surgery. Altogether, he spent a combination of sixteen years in private practice in Montana, as a cardiovascular, thoracic and plastic surgeon. Additionally, Dr. Conner served our country in Active Duty and Army Reserves, being called into service during Desert Storm, serving as Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at Tripler Hospital in 1991.

A growing interest in skin cancer led Dr. Conner to seek further training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a specialized skin cancer procedure that allows for the highest cure rate and the smallest removal of tissue. He completed a Mohs Surgical Fellowship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas with Dr. Willis Cottel, former president of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and a pioneer in the field. During this fellowship Dr. Conner also received training in dermatopathology from Dr. Clay Cockerell, former president of the American Academy of Dermatology and internationally recognized dermatologist and dermatopathologist.

Dr. Conner has been in private practice as a Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon since 2006, including two years in Arkansas and the last seven years in The Woodlands, Texas. He is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Conner has been happily married for 35 years to Susan and they have two children, Katie, a PhD and mother of twins (Henry and Ellie), and Chris a Phd and MD resident in neurosurgery. Dr. Conner and his wife also have a dog named Boo.
