Dr. Mernitz received his BA from Washington University and graduated medical school from Indiana University, and completed his residency at Methodist Hospital. Dr. Mernitz was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in 2003. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association, and Indianapolis Medical Society. In 2000, he was the recipient of the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics & Gynecology Outstating Clinical Teacher Award. Dr. Mernitz enjoys running and exercise, as well as woodworking. He loves spending time with his wife and three daughters. He is currently accepting new patients at the Carmel Meridian and Westfield location.
