Recommends Available On Time Professional Knowledgeable Understandable Reachable Helpful StaffI recommend Dr Faubel to everyone. He was able to help me with my mid back pain by sending me to physical therapy. The low back has been gone since a radiofrequency ablation injection he did for my lumbar joint pain. Been perfect since.

Dr. Faubel moved to Northern Illinois in 2013 and throughout these years he has helped thousands of patients achieve their goal of reduced low back/neck/major joint pain, and increased function. Non-surgical treatment options include safe, non-addictive medication management, physical therapy prescriptions and various injections including neck and low back epidural steroid injections, piriformis sciatica injections, cervical and lumbar arthritic facet joint radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint injections, and other major joint injections. He utilizes an x-ray machine to make the injections as safe and precise as possible. In addition, these injections are performed conveniently in a special procedure room in the clinic instead of a surgical center that would require much greater wait times and tremendously more expense to the patients.
Dr. Chris Faubel is fellowship-trained and board-certified in both Physiatry (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) and Interventional Spine/Pain Management.
As much as I love helping people relieve their back and neck pain and get their lives back, my life wouldn't be complete without my beautiful wife and adorable daughter...and rescue dog, Nacho. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing Emma smiling and laughing while playing with my wife.
Physical medicine & rehabilitation specialists, or physiatrists, are doctors who specialize in helping patients rehabilitate from injuries or complications of disease. This could include a weekend warrior coming back from a broken leg, or an aging grandmother dealing with arthritis. Dr. Faubel may employ a range of treatment & rehabilitation techniques, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and nerve stimulation treatments, among others.
