Dr. Huh grew up in Ohio where he attended Kenyon College (1988-1992) and Medical College of Ohio (1992-1996). He then began his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD (1996-2002). During his 3 years of GI Fellowship, Dr. Huh became proficient in upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and ERCP.
After finishing his fellowship, he came to Fairfax where he spent two years at the Metropolitan Liver Diseases caring for patients with hepatitis C, cirrhosis, and liver transplants. Beginning in 2004, he began his solo practice in Fair Oaks. He is dedicated to performing high-quality colonoscopies and is up-to-date on most cutting edge technologies including capsule endoscopy, radiofrequency ablation for Barrett’s esophagus, and radio frequency ablation for refractory GERD.
