Cedric L. Wong MD Inc: I believe in both surgery and non surgical options, and create treatment plans individualized for each patient. I strongly believe in educating and informing my patients by spending more time talking to my patients, and answering questions.
I am an Air Force trained Orthopedic Surgeon, practicing since 1998 in Air Force and since 2003 in private practice. The unique characteristics of the military serviceman and woman allowed me to gain extensive experience in sports injuries and fractures, while the large military retired population gave excellent exposure to total joint replacements. The most common procedures I perform are knee and shoulder arthroscopy, though I'm well-versed in treating both upper and lower extremities in adults and kids of all ages.
I have special interest in anatomic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and navigation and custom cutting blocks for more accurate placement of total knee and hip replacements. I am doing cutting-edge rotator cuff reconstructions using special grafts in patients who have pain following failed prior repair attempts.
I do surgeries at Folsom Surgery Center and Mercy Hospital of Folsom.
