Dr. Cary R. Motz, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Motz specializes in knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction, sports medicine, at Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in Denver, Colorado and Parker, Colorado.
Dr. Motz received his undergraduate degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Oklahoma. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Motz completed the San Diego Sports Medicine Arthroscopy Fellowship, focusing on advanced techniques in knee and shoulder arthroscopy. In addition, he is board certified in Sports Medicine. Dr. Motz currently serves as President of Denver-Vail Orthopedics.
Dr. Motz believes that good communication with his patients is the key to a successful treatment outcome.He is currently the team physician for Rock Canyon High School and previously served as the Medical Director for the Colorado Storm Soccer Club. His hobbies include playing golf and skiing.
As an orthopedic surgeon in Colorado, Dr. Motz is trained to detect and treat all forms of damage to the musculoskeletal system, including the tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, and muscles. Once a diagnosis has been achieved, Dr. Motz will typically resort to surgery when other treatment plans have been exhausted or eliminated.
