Bio
Dr. Twedt is originally from Nevada, Iowa but grew up in Milton, West Virginia. She completed her undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC before returning to West Virginia for medical school at Marshall University. She made her way to Greenville to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency with the Greenville Hospital System before joining Piedmont OB/GYN. Her special interests include high risk obstetrics, preconceptual counseling, osteoporosis prevention, menopausal symptoms management, first gynecologic exams, vaginal surgery, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, and Essure coil placement. She and her husband Joel have 2 small children, Ashton and Ava. Together they enjoy biking, tennis, and golf.
