Recommends Available Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Understandable ReachableIn September of 1991, our son, Scott, began experiencing severe pain and aching in every joint in his body (feet, ankles, knees, hips, arms, wrists, hands, back ... everywhere. He was age 17 and had just returned from hockey camp. Of course, we told him this is natural after 5 long days of hockey ... but the symptoms didn\'t disappear. We. Immediately were referred to Carol Beals. She was so incredibly concerned and assured us that we would work on this together. So we started a regimen of drugs to be administered throughout the day and night and kept a log as to his reactions. We visited her weekly for her to review that log and see him. Then adjustments were made to dosages, timing, etc for each day. It took a while, but soon he was back to feeling like an average senior guy in high school. He moved into remission as a result of the quick, thorough action of Carol Beals. When he moved to Phoenix in 1994 he took part in an experimental rheumatoid arthritis study. He\'s 41 years old now and married with two, young sons. He still has to be aware of his activities/limitations and knows that arthritis is still in his system ... but remains in remission. Carol, we\'ll always be grateful for your quick, knowledgeable and heartfelt response to a young man in such desperate need.
