Dr. Calvin Wong is a board-certified Family Medicine and fellowship trained primary care Sports Medicine Physician located in San Diego, CA. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine and has practiced in San Diego for over 13 years. In addition, he served as the Medical Team Physician of the NFL San Diego Chargers from 2001 to 2017.  
 Dr. Wong also serves as the medical director of the Metro Comprehensive Medical Center (MCMC). In addition, he is a practicing physician at his own practice, serving the needs of downtown San Diego in family medicine, occupational medicine, and sports medicine.  
 Dr. Wong was born in Northern California and attended University of California, Berkeley, for his undergraduate degree. After earning a B.A. in biochemistry, he moved down to San Diego to continue his career in medicine. Following his graduation from medical school, he completed an internship with Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. On top of this, he received advanced training by completing a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at UCSD. He has also received the honor of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
