Recommends Available On Time Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Nice Office Understandable Reachable Helpful StaffDr. Whitfield performed arthroscopic surgery on my should to repair torn labrum, rotator cuff and a/c joint impingement. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Whitfield for shoulder problems. I had a very unfortunate experience with another doctor (2014) on my left shoulder and it was never repaired correctly. Therefor, I still have pain 2+ years after the surgery. Thank goodness I found Dr. Whitfield to help me with my right shoulder. My surgery was 6 months ago and it has completely healed. Dr. Whitfield took the time in the beginning to explain exactly what he would do during surgery and then everything I should expect following surgery. He told me how long to expect the pain to continue, how I needed to complete PT and followed up with me. Not only is he very skilled as a surgeon, he has an incredibly kind bedside manner. In the days of the insurance companies dictating how much time a doctor can spend with a patient, Dr. Whitfield makes you feel as if he has time to answer any and all questions. His office staff is very, very helpful. They stayed in constant touch with me getting my pre/post op visits scheduled as well as the hospital scheduled for my surgery.
